Kids Heart Challenge at Findley Oaks:
In January, each student will receive a Kids Heart Challenge packet that contains an informational letter and a step-by-step instructions page for online collecting. At Findley Oaks, we only use the online system; therefore, no cash or checks will be accepted at the school level. The students will have four weeks to collect donations for the American Heart Association (AHA). The students will be rewarded for their efforts with a Kids Heart Challenge Special Event in February, where they jump, dance, have fun, and celebrate volunteerism! All the details are explained in the KHC packet.
About Kids Heart Challenge:
Kids Heart Challenge is a national education and fundraising event sponsored by the American Heart Association (AHA).
This event engages elementary students with rope jumping while empowering them to improve their own health and help other kids with heart-health issues. This program is also a great way to satisfy the physical education standards as determined by SHAPE (Society of Health and Physical Education) and GSE Standards.
